It is a very unsettled scenario for today with low pressure sitting slap bang over Britain and Ireland bringing heavy showers or longer spells of rain across many regions. Only parts of northern Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England have the best chance of seeing some drier and brighter conditions, but if you stay dry all day today then you will be very lucky indeed.
