Heatwave Continues

The unprecedented and historic late season heatwave continues across much of England and Wales again today, and there is a chance that the all-time high temperature for October (set at March, Cambridgeshire in 1985) could be toppled. Yesterday saw another new date record set when Sutton Bonington in Nottinghamshire recorded a maximum of 29.2C.
