An unusually deep Atlantic low for July is sitting over Scotland today and is bringing a mixture of rain, showers, blustery winds and cool temperatures across much of Britain and Ireland. This low isn't going anywhere fast during the next couple of days, so the very unsettled theme will continue for the time being.
