Changes are now taking place which will see a warmer but rather more unsettled outlook over the next few days. Atlantic low pressure is edging closer to Britain and Ireland, finally pushing the area of high pressure that has dominated for so long out of the way. The result is for those warmer south/south-easterly winds to develop but with an increasing risk of rain or showers moving in.
