Families favour beach trips over culture

BEACHES and theme parks beat trips to museums and galleries for families. A survey for half term found only 1% of children and 3% of parents felt a cultural trip was their favourite in 2010. Days Inn found 25% of children and parents thought a beach break the best trip, with 23% preferring theme parks. Days Inn has 57 hotels with rooms from £35 a night.
