Today see's a return to an all too familiar pattern across Britain and Ireland with unsettled conditions once more affecting north-western areas whilst the exceptionally dry spell continues across south-east England and East Anglia. Low pressure will tend to take over during the next couple of days, bringing showers to many areas - perhaps even towards the south-east!
