As promised warmer conditions are spreading north across much of the country as southerly winds from Spain and Africa affect us. Low pressure out to the west and high pressure out to the east are the reasons for the southerly winds, but it is low pressure that is set to dominate our weather over the next few days, meaning thundery rain or showers will feature in the forecast a fair bit.
