Warmest Day Yet

Some very warm air is feeding up from the south today and this will bring the warmest day of 2011 so far in many regions as temperatures soar in the sunny spells that will become more widespread as we go through the day. One exception will be towards the north and west where it will be a wet day across much of western Scotland with further heavy rain for much of the time.
