After many days with light winds, today comes as something of a shock to the system as blustery westerly winds are affecting many areas. Along with these windy conditions comes more changeable weather, and showers are possible in many areas for a time today, with more persistent rain and snow set to affect the north later on. Most of the showers can be found across northern and western Scotland as well as over Northern Ireland, and in these regions they are heavy and wintry, but just about anyon...
